I haven’t posted since August but I have not been idle: new research, new scholarly papers and books in the offing; new poetry, nonfiction, and fiction. Covid-19 or coronavirus or SARS CoV-2 has not caused me a problem, except for interrupting happy hour here in the Westport Entertainment District of Kansas City, Missouri. None of my immediate family have succumbed to the virus, although some have been tested, and one found positive but fully recovered after a fortnight’s quarantine. I have poetry and nonfiction entered in major contests in 2021, and have applied for a fellowship to finish research and rewriting of a 2015 200-page manuscript.
I hope this finds all my readers and commenters, encouraging supporters of my work safe, healthy, and happy through the rest of this year and into the next. I’ll see you in 2021!
